Special Forces “invade” Elbasan one day after incident with Police

Special units from “RENEA”, “Quick Intervention”, “Eagles” and “Operational Forces” are today in Elbasan, under a wide operation against illegal activities.

Dozens of homes, vehicles and suspects have been searched for illegal activity. Many were taken under custody and some vehicles have been seized.

The operation is being coordinated with the highest leaders of the State Police and the General Director Haki Cako, who arrived this Thursday in Elbasan.

This operation comes two days after the incident that took place in Elbasan, when an armored car intentionally pushed the vehicle of the Elbasan Chief of Police, while he was accompanying a luxury car suspected of being part of illegal traffic.

Police seized several armored cars of Petrit Cela, and gave few details about the event which was reported by the Democratic Party.
