SPAK drops investigations into former SP mayor, PD: Drug-using officials preferred by Rama’s government

PD’s opposition secretary Çlirim Gjata reacted today to the SPAK special prosecution’s decision to terminate the investigation for the former mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, saying that investigations have been delayed in order to entirely dismiss the case.

“No surprises for the dismissal of the case against the drug-addicted mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla. The delay in the investigation was aimed at dismissing the case and concluding that the mayor soaked in cocaine, was in fact not consuming cocaine.

“The video of Edi Rama’s illegitimate mayor taking cocaine was shocking when it became public, but for PM Rama this fact does not exist. A cocaine user will continue to be at the helm of the Municipality, thus making no distinction from his political tutor at the helm of government. A drugged mayor or a mayor with a criminal past, who traffics women and girls, is the model offered by Edi Rama’s government. The mayor of Bulqiza is the mirror where everyone can see Edi Rama.

“He has the political responsibility for selecting these individuals who do not represent the Albanian citizens. Edi Rama should have exercised legal responsibility for the dismissal of Lefter Alla and not delay or close the investigations.

“This proves, unfortunately the degradation of the Socialist Party from a political party to a gang of traffickers and drug users. Separating politics from crime is a national emergency!”, stated Gjata among other things.
