The Red and Black Alliance leader, Kreshnik Spahiu, declared that his political party will run alone in the June 23rd elections.

During a meeting with the supporters Spahiu declared that he refused the coalition with the Socialist Party to not betray the cause of the Red and Black Alliance, which is the national unification.

“A priority of the Red and Black Alliance is national unification. We support every anti-Berisha coalition, but due to the Greek presence we cannot betray our national cause”, Spahiu declared.

He underlined that overthrowing Berisha is indispensable.

If the Red and Black Alliance would betray its cause, it would disappoint its citizens. The Red and Black Alliance will run alone in the next elections and the only alliance will be with the Albanian people.

“We must maximize the votes against Berisha, but the Red and Black Alliance would betray its cause, and by allowing its votes to be counted by others, the Red and Black Alliance would disappoint its citizens. The Red and Black Alliance will run alone in the next elections, making a coalition only with the Albanian people”, Spahiu declared.

The Red and Black Alliance declared that Albania needs a political rotation more than ever, underlying that his political force will fight more to achieve this.

“Albania doesn’t deserve only to remove that man, but also his political party. We will remove the Democratic Party by making our campaign with every citizen and farmer, and will give no vote for today’s government”, Spahiu declared, not sparing critics against the Socialist Party.

“We have a Parliament today that is divided by two parties that have disappointed the citizens. I am here on behalf of the Red and Black Alliance supporters to say that I will not betray our cause on behalf of a government post”, Spahiu declared.

The Red and Black Alliance becomes the second political group that will run alone in the June 23rd elections. The New Democratic Spirit leader, Bamir Topi, announced yesterday that their only alliance would be with the citizens.
