The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, spoke at the meeting of the Socialist Party National Assembly and praised the “Urban Revival” program with local governments, and his party’s principle for focusing on the people.
“If there is something that will be left there even after 100 years, it is the Socialist Party and city centers. The Skanderbeg Square will be there forever. The Vlora Promenade as well. The Korca Market. I want to thank the Prime Minister and the government for deciding to make the cities as a priority, and for focusing on the people”, Veliaj said.
“The fact that the tourist boom focused on city centers means that the Socialist party principle for putting all the attention to the people, was an excellent choice”, Veliaj said.
