Socialist Party MP Blendi Klosi declared that the vote counting process
for Tirana mayoral race was manipulated and that the Socialist party
will continue the legal battle until the end.
Speaking on Top-Channel’s program “Top Story”, he underlined that the rules of the game were changed during the match, and this was confirmed by ODIHR too.
“This process has only deteriorated. On May 14th they needed a way to manipulate votes, and they invented the new illness, the one of contested votes. As ODIHR also said, the rules of the game were changed while the match was on. Basha is being declared winner through a clear electoral manipulation. We have a process with many enigmatic facts. There are no more foreign experts to solve this matter”, Klosi declared.
“We have decided to continue our legal battle until the end. It is very difficult to find a unit where the number of voters is equal to the ballots that were found inside. There are ballots that have been inserted afterwards in an illegal way. The Socialist Party will make independent investigations for calculating the manipulations. We are using theorems that have been approved world wide”, Klosi added.
