The state owned TV advertisement scandal is being reported for the
fourth day by the Socialist Party, the biggest Albanian opposition
force.
MP Eduard Shalsi declared that 800.000 USD were spent by the Ministry of Transports, led by Sokol Olldashi, most of which gone only to three pro-government newspapers.
MP Shalsi raised another problem that is related with the Ministry of Labor and Social Works, led by Spiro Ksera, regarding an inspection of the High Council of Justice that resulted with public fund abuses.
Rama: Facts and figures of government corruption
The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, while attending a visit in Zagreb, declared through Twitter that the abusive financial scandal of the pro-government media has just started and it is showing the facts and figures of the government’s corruption.
“All facts and figures will be published one by one, even on a special website where every citizen can receive information”, Rama declared.
Rama meets Croatian leadership
The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, attended a two-day visit to Zagreb, Croatia.
The Socialist Press Office declared earlier today that Rama met the Croatian President Josipovich and the Prime Minister Milanovich.
During the meeting at the Presidential Palace, the opposition leader updated the Croatian Head of State with the latest political developments in Albania, especially with the EU integration process.
To the President of the newest country that will become part of the European Union, Rama asked full support for Albania’s EU candidate status, while President Josipovich considered the acceleration of the EU membership process as vital.
On the second day of his visit in Zagreb, the Albanian opposition leader attended a meeting with the Croatian Prime Minister, Zoran Milanovich. The conversation with the Croatian Prime Minister focused on the regional political situation and the new policies that aim to encourage development, employment and honest taxes.
Rama updated Prime Minister Milanovic with the Socialist party program “For an Albanian Rebirth”, while the Croatian diplomat offered his help and cooperation to the opposition’s governing program.
