In a meeting with the Socialist Party Parliamentary group, Socialist MP Taulant Balla spoke about the vetting process proposed by the Democratic Party.
Balla said that Basha’s proposition is just political propaganda that aims to create an obstacle for the judiciary reform.
He underlined that the Socialist Party is ready for a true vetting process, which is already guaranteed by the current reform.
The National Bureau of Investigation and the Special Prosecution Against Corruption, according to Balla, guarantee the vetting process not only for politicians but also for their family members. While the Democratic Party’s proposition, according to him, leaves family members outside the investigation.
