SP demands investigation for 1 million USD allegedly undeclared by DP

The Socialist Party asked once again the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, about the source of 1 million USD his party used to pay a lobbying company in the USA.

“Sources say that the money used by the Democratic Party to produce news articles which aim to stain the image of Albania belong to a dark fund of corruptive affairs administered by a person close to Edi Rama. This fund was created on an offshore island”, the SP says.

“Lulzim Basha stays silent, while the Prosecution has not summoned him yet for questioning, sa part of a fraud scheme with more than 1 million USD. This sheds serious shadows of doubt on the Prosecution’s work”, said Ervin Bushati from the Socialist party.
