The Socialist Party has started the counting process for the ballots
through which the 1500 delegates voted the national assembly of this
party.
The voting will show the names of the 121 new members that will be elected from a list of 186 candidates. 80 of the 121 new members are men and 41 women.
The counting process was planned to be held yesterday, but the Socialist leaders postponed it for respecting the Kurban Bayram.
For this reason, the votes were sealed by the Socialist Party at the Palace of Congresses. The Process takes a long time and it is not known when it will be over.
There’s a great interest to see to whom the Socialists have trusted their vote. In the ballots they were able to see the new names that were proposed, and some other who had returned in this leadership.
The congress that was held last week created enthusiasm among the Socialist Party members, who declared that they came out of this event more united than ever.
Among them there were skeptics too, such as Arben Malaj, who warned for the dangers of the blockage of the biggest opposition party leadership.
Ben Blushi, who had been distanced from the Socialist Policy leadership declared that with the new program, the SP returned on the right track.
