The Albanian opposition sees the recent government declarations
regarding the EU integration processes as the continuity of an old
minded politics.
Ditmir Bushati, chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of Integration declared for Top Channel that the government is trying to blame the opposition for failing with the 12 priorities.
“This is an old mindset of the Prime Minister. When he faces failures, he blames others. It’s worth saying that Berisha’s government has failed in finding a compromise with the opposition, and to reach higher living standards for the citizens of this country. You can watch yesterday’s efforts to discredit the opposition, to understand the credibility of the public administration”, Bushati declared.
The Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, declared yesterday that the new government of Netherlands has changed its stance against Albania’s EU status, which Bushati considered a disinformation and diversion.
Bushati says that Minister Bregu and her colleague Panariti cannot take the attributes of the spokesperson of the Dutch government.
“The Dutch government has a solid stance for the integration issue, the same that they held with Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and this time with Albania. We are facing Taliban behaviour from Sali Berisha. The disinformation is a very low action, because we are talking about the same Prime Minister that leads the new Dutch government”, Bushati declared.
