SP against CEC, Electoral College gathers

The Socialist Party adressed to the Electoral College with a request
stating that the Central Election Commission should not review any
request of the parties, since they don’t have the necessary quorum.

The College gathered today at 14:00 to review the request, and the verdict is about to come out.

As regards the complaint of the Socialist Party at the Electoral College, The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that Edi Rama should not try to hamper what he called a transparency of the elections.

“We recognized the result a priori, but if transparency is blocked, we will not recognize the power that will come out of this election”, Berisha declared.

“I want to say to Mr.Rama to not make the fatal mistake of blocking the vote count. Sali Berisha recognized the result, as it was initially declared, and Sali Berisha will recognize anyr esult that comes from the honest vote count. He must know that he will never recognize a poewr that will come from falsification and deceit. The best way is to count every ballot and I will respect every vote that is in favor or against. I believe that I did what my country wanted. My country wants every vote to be counted, and no one should stand over the crime, drugs and its cartels. It is on the best interest of the next Prime Minister and of every citizen to make transparency, or the Democratic Party will not recognize the power that comes out of stolen votes”, Berisha declared.
