SP accuses DP of hiding 1 mln USD contract: “Lobbying with suspicious money”

The ruling Socialist Party accused the opposition’s Democratic Party of paying international lobbying contracts with suspicious funds.
The accusation was launched by the Head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.
“The Democratic Party, under the responsibility of Lulzim Basha, has spent 825,000 USD for lobbyists in Washington for the March0June period, much higher than the total revenues that the Democratic Party has declared at the Central Election Commission”, Balla said.
“They have hidden a payment of more than 1 million USD and they have declared only 500,000 USD. Where did the Democratic Party and Lulzim Basha find this money? The Prosecution must start investigations immediately”, Balla said.
