Sota’s arrest and his alleged connections to Saimir Tahiri discussed on Top Story

Sokol Balla: “Should we believe Sota’s version, that he had more than 800.000 EUR in cash to pay Kurum for a transaction?

Anila Hoxha: “The law states that any purchase in cash, more than 150.000 ALL, is considered illegal. The person in question should also clarify why he didn’t stop for the police at the first roadblock.

Enton Qyno: “Since Kurum chose to stay silent, I think they are compromised.

Sokol Bregu: “Investigations will show if Sota has earned this money from tenders of the Interior Ministry, but they cannot prove if he has ties with the Habilaj or other organized crime. No one could move that much money without armed guards, especially if they belonged to the organized crime.

Anila Hoxha: “I made an inquiry at Kurum, and the Chief of Finances says he didn’t expect any payment.  Unofficial data suggest that Sota owns an apartment at the same building where Tahiri lives, but this remains to be confirmed.

Sokol Balla: “Zhabina, if this version is true, then there is the question if the road block to stop Sota was not intentional?

Xhevair Zhabina: His vehicle was stopped by a police patrol with two officers, near the Kurum offices. The version of the police needs to be verified, since there has been no reaction from the Prosecution. Kurum says they have no connection to Orest Sota.

Enton Qyno: “Kurum is signing for administrative bankruptcy. A state administrator monitors every movement. The testimony of this administrator would be very helpful. If the company makes cash transactions, why are they in a state of bankruptcy? Kurum is being compromised.
