The Open Society Foundation for Albania, funded by George Soros,
explained their position with the Justice Reform, during the
presentation of a study on impunity.
Their Executive Director, Andi Dobrushi, said that the Foundation has financed the Justice Reform, and that he is proud of it.
“I would like to explain two things, after the recent controversy created regarding the Foundation’s role with the Justice Reform. There are enough documents proving the involvement of the Foundation, and we are proud of it. This reform has the support of 96% of Albanians. We have supported it financially, together with the US Embassy and the project of the EU delegation”, Dobrushi said.
Dobrushi explained the entire position of the Foundation with the Justice Reform.
“We have a detailed agreement with the Parliament, which has details about the Foundation’s supoprt to the process. We had an expert, the former Strasbourg Court judge. For the rest, we have answered to the Special Commission for Justice Reform”, Andi Dobrushi added.
