The Ministry of Infrastructure is the first institution in Albania that
has installed solar panels on its terrace to supply its building. This
system had a cost of 20.000 EUR, which the Ministry received for free
through a pilot project.
Calculations show so far that 40% of the electricity supply in this institution can be received from solar panels.
The system is easy to be maintained and the investment can bring back its own cost within a few years.
Excessive energy can go to the distribution network and be used by producers in another time.
