Socialist MP trial against Berisha’s children

By the end of the trial, the lawyer asked the court to oblige the MP that they have sued, Sajmir Tahiri, to compensate the Prime Minister’s children with 4 million ALL each.

Tahiri asked to give his conclusions before the judge gave the verdict, and the Court left him time until June 20th. Tahiri declared for the media that he has the necessary documentation for proving his declaration that the Prime Minister’s children are corrupted.

“I asked the trial to be still open, since I have still evidence that show that the Prime Minister’s children are corrupted. I have always said this and I will be saying it, without any fear. If this is the cost that I have to pay for telling the truth that they really are involved in illegal activities, I will pay by a court that is on the same level with the Prime Minister’s son. Based on their asset’s declaration, Shkelzen Berisha had 900.000 ALL in 2006, and 630 million ALL in 2011. Argita Berisha declared 880 million ALL in 2006 and 1 billion and 820 million in 2011. This fantastic and unjustified jump of the wealth only with her job at the Lawyer’s Office is something that doesn’t convince me. For this reason I summoned them to court, so that they can prove their wealth, but the court didn’t allow me”, declared MP Tahiri.

Sajmir Tahiri was sued for moral and property damage by Shkelzen and Argita Berisha, who are accusing him of slander. In the first session there were journalists and international monitoring representatives, together with Socialist MPs and journalists.
