Snowfall returned last night in Albania as the Albanian Road Authority appeals to drivers to be careful during the weekend.
“Vehicle drivers must be careful in their movement and respect the road signs of speed limits, be equipped with chains and winter tires according to the instructions of the Road Police”, appeals the agency.
Meanwhile the condition of the national road axes are as follows:
The Southern region, Korçë-Ersekë-Leskovik, Boboshticë-Dardhë, Qafë Thanë-Kapshticë, has been cleared of snow and the traffic continues normally.
The Central Region, Krujë-Sarisalltik, Tirana-Dajt, Librazhd-Steblevë, Zëmblak-Goricë, is recommended be passed with snow chains, as in the segment Qafë Mollë-Bize.
In the Northern Region, Bajram Curri-Valbonë, Kukës-Ura e Zapodit, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Dedaj-Razëm-Bogë, Kuben-Vasije, Qafë Qelë-Pukë-Fushë Arrëz-Fushë Dukagjin, Skurraj-Peshkopi, Hani i Hotit-T are passable, snow chains recommended in BogëTheth, Tamarë-Vermosh.
