Snow and storms throughout Northeastern Albania

Cold weather has swept the entire northeastern Albania with heavy snow precipitations and strong winds.

Strong winds in Kukes have thrown water deposits away from apartment building terraces, fortunately, without hurting anyone.

Landslides have blocked some roads, where contracted firms are working to clean them.

There were problems with electricity in Ujmisht, Bushtrica and Kukes, Shengjergj and Lekbibaj.

The Civilian Emergency Commission is watching the situation closely.
