The testimony of the Albanian-American businessman at the Court of
Serious crimes has revealed a threatening message sent by Fatos Skeja,
former bodyguard of the former Prime Minister’s family.
The businessman presented the SMS he claims was sent by former National Guard officer Skeja and Gojart Loci.
“You’re under our watch. You will pay 100,000 or you will suffer the consequences”, the SMS says.
The businessman reported the case last August and presented the SMS as evidence.
The Albanian-American says he had been seriously threatened for his life, and that they knwe his family and ordered him to pay.
Although the lawsuit was filed in August, when Berisha was still Prime Minister, Skeja and Loci were arrested only in December.
The former national guard was accused of offering money to the family of Hekuran Deda, one of the four victims that were killed on January 21st in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
