SMI, Vasili: “Reform debate must unite us, not divide”

The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for the Socialist Movement for
Integration , Petrit Vasili, declared that the passing of the seven
justice reform laws is a moment of huge significance.
Vasili underlined that this was the only topic treated yesterday with the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, and the EU ambassador, Romana Vlahutin.
“This reform was achieved with consensus, and we confirmed our good will for a full approval of this package. The most delicate part of the process passed with understanding, and we are still open”, he declared.
“This is a major reform that citizens are looking forward to, and which has received a huge and important political investment. Debates should not be stalemates. We shared the same good will and desire with Lu and Vlahutin”, Vasili declared.
