The Socialist Movement for Integration has made another appeal for realizing the territorial reform as quickly as possible.
The Head of the Socialist Movement for Integration Parliamentary Group, Petrit Vasili, considers this as indispensable for a better efficiency of the local administration.
“Connecting this reform with small political and fictive interests, especially with electoral interests, is the most short-termed approach. It is very wrong, because the electoral verdict will be given by the Albanian people only, on the right time and as decided by the Constitution. It will not be given by illogical boycotts that only preserve a backward status quo and anachronism of the local government administration”, Vasili declared.
Petrit Vasili mentioned the Audiovisual Media Authority debate. He said that its functionality is incomplete and unclear with the law. He expressed his full support to the initiative taken by the majority.
“The Socialist Movement for Integration will support the legal activity that makes this institution functional, because it is very clear even for you who are direct actors and connected to this institution. This is a major concern for a major institution which is not working properly, and which is in unclear relations with the law and it still works that way. Every initiative of the majority that will resolve this problem will be supported by the Socialist Movement for Integration”, Vasili declared.
