The Socialist Movement for Integration announced their remarks on the
draft proposed by the experts of the Special Commission for Justice
Reform, and they have several.

“We don’t agree about the career system. We want a career system to dominate, so that it can be the core of criteria. We have a different opinion about the mandates. We have our own formulation about the elections of the Constitutional Court members, based on the German Model. We have another option for the organization of the Supreme Court, judging that it should be one and only, with its division based on sections. We have another opinion regarding the organization of the Prosecution, seeing it as a nified institution, with the right and the opportunity to have special anti-corruption structures with it. We are for a more active role, for formulations that increase the active role of the Minister of Justice”, Braho said.

For the SMI, the draft has been charged with various constitutional amend that MP Braho said that could be avoided through laws. Another reserve of the SMI is the big number of institutions that I being created.

Braho said that the consensus is the right path.
