The Socialist Movement for Integration greeted the preliminary report of
the OSCE-ODIHR and the role of the international observers during May
8th local elections.

SMI Vice Leader, Nora Malaj, underlined that this party is against political pressures that are being made to the vote counting process.

“SMI supports the report of all OSCE-ODIHR observers. SMI is against al pressures that oppose OSCE-ODIHR recommendations. Appealing the citizens to get out and protect their vote, is against the democratic principles”, Malaj declared.

“SMI is committed to communicate positively, by respecting the institutional standards, inviting all parties to continue the vote counting process, and also appeals the citizens to not fall prey to the political parties’ pressure”, Malaj declared.
