SMI leader distanced himself from former Justice Minister, Manjani

The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, said
for journalists that any Minister who has facts, must follow
institutional ways for their accusations.

Meta said that the SMI was not pressured to fire Manjani as Minister of Justice, and that any Minister who has facts about any wrongdoing, should address them to the respective justice institutions.

“We don’t give up against any pressure. Not from PM Rama, not from Berisha… and of course not from Basha”, Meta said, adding that their focus should be on the reforms.

Meta also said that in the next elections, if the SP or DP win more than 71 mandates, the SMI will be in opposition.

The former Minister of Justice was fired by the Prime Minister and replaced with Petrit Vasili a few days ag. He then launched a series of accusation against the government.
