SMI kick MP out of party for changing stance on Justice Reform

The Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Movement for Integration removed MP Perparim Spahiu from their party.
The decision was taken after his stance for the justice reform.
The vice leader of the SMI, Petrit Vasili, declared that the stances of MP Spahiu were personal.
“We had a very clear decision about the justice reform”, Vasili declared.
He underlined that the SMI will continue to work for the reform with transparency, based on the Venice Standards and far from short-sighted and emotional political stances.
As for the Constitutional amends proposed by some MPs, such as a popular vote for the President, Vasili said this requires reflection, since an elected President would need more competences.
