SMI holds Women Convention

From the convention of Women Movement for Integration, where the
Socialist Movement for Integration introduced 48 candidates in a
national scale, the leader of this party, Ilir Meta, held a speech in
which he emphasized the significance of having a stronger economic
situation for women.
“SMI has a concrete employment program that gives a special importance to the economic empowerment of women, because we believe in a right society where economic and social development would be half good if women would have closed doors for jobs”, Ilir Meta declared.
The leader of the Lezhe District, Monika Kryemadhi, expressed her strong conviction that women will give the victory to the SMI.
“Only in the SMI we have equal gender quotas. We will show to Ilir Meta and all Albanians that the SMI women will give victory to this party on the June 23rd elections”, Kryemadhi declared.
Meta meets business representatives
Earlier the day Ilir Meta held a meeting with business representatives, with whom he signed a cooperation agreement for after the elections.
The SMI leader was accompanied by his collaborators, experts of economy, who introduced some of the facilities they will offer for businesses.
Meta declared that supporting business means creating new jobs and developing economy.
Employment will be the priority of the SMI, Meta declared furing a meeting in Saranda.
“SMI wants your support on June 23rd because we have a clear program for employment. All SMI policies aim to increase employment, starting from education”, Meta declared.
Meta added that the failures of the current government will be overcome after the June 23rd elections, when he promised that a new era will start for our country.
“We will remove VAT for tourist services to 10%, so that we can compete other countries in the region”, Meta declared.
