The Socialist Movement for Integration insists that the manufacture
business should not have a changed tax from 10% to 15%, as proposed by
the Ministry of Finances.
“This business have created many jobs in the Albanian society and has been able to face a very heavy burden of employment, by supporting socially many Albanian employees who come from the poor categories”, declared the SMI Parliamentary Group leader, Petrit Vasili.
SMI also adds that Albania is still attractive for foreign investments in comparison with our neighbors, due to the tax advantages.
Tje SMI has also proposed two other amends for the health system. 20% of the tobbaco excise income should go to the Health Ministry to increase the promotion campaign against smoking, and part for subventioning respiratory health problems.
As for the obligatory health check for ages from 40 to 60, as foreseen by the Health Ministry, the SMI proposes to increase it to 65 years of age. This party, part of the government, appeals that these amends should be taken in consideration in the parliamentary session of this Saturday, when the budget will be approved.
