SMI, a frontal and constructive opposition in central and local governments

On her first political interview after taking the leadership of the
Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhi declared that the
SMI will be in opposition even at the Tirana Municipality.
“Our stances will vary on the cases in question. If some decisions serve to citizens, we will absolutely vote them”, Kryemadhi said, guaranteeing that the chairmen of municipal will not be changed.
Kryemadhi did not comment the attacks of Lulzim Basha, but she had a message for him: “I am not going to spend time for the Democratic Party. We have our position, our strategy, our platform. Our platform is a direct coalition with citizens. The opposition is not a matter of numbers, but a matter of morale”, Kryemadhi said.
As for the Parliament, Kryemadhi said SMI would be a frontal opposition, frontal but constructive, without any kind of compromise.
“Opposition is not going against anything. It means giving alternatives that are in function of citizens, for a better life and for political, economic, financial and human stability”, Kryemadhi said.
She added that the SMI has always been open for creating a national opposition front without ideologic distinctions, since, according to her, defending citizens is not something that can have party colors.
