Skanderbeg’s wedding brought to play 567 years later

Dozens wore ancient Albanian costumes and celebrated a wedding at the Kanina Castle.

Among the participants, there were Albanians from all over the world, including 60 Arberesh from Italy, successors of Skanderbeg.

“If this marriage didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be here. We had the chance today to get united with our Albanian blood. We have been away for a long time. History divided us. It is time to reunite. Europe must respect Albania’s importance”, said Loris Castriota Scanderbeg.
