Six persons were arrested by the Police after they were caught transporting a quantity of 100 kg of hashish near Tirana.
The news was confirmed this Friday afternoon by the police. The arrests were made after an anti-drug operation discovered the narcotic substance that was carried in two vehicles.
The cars were stopped near Vora. The vehicles were carrying six persons who were accompanied at the Police.
The identity of the suspects is still unknown. The authorities say that they were aware of their criminal activity and that they had been following them.
