Singapore recognizes Kosovo independence

Singapore is the newest country that recognized Kosovo’s independence.
The news was confirmed by the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj,
through a Twitter post.
“Singapore recognized Kosovo todaya s a sovereign country and both countries established diplomatic relations”, Hoxhaj wrote on his Twitter profile.
The government of Kosovo also released a declaration with the statement of the Singapore government.
Now there are 113 countries that recognize the independence of Kosovo. Singapore is the fourth Asian country that took this decision.
Hoxhaj will visit Singpore this January.
