While the Tirana Prosecution is waiting for the lab tests of the
evidence regarding a crime in the Kavaja Street, where one man was
murdered, and for another one in Kashar, where Emiljano Shullazi was
injured, the name of the latter seems to have caused a meeting between
Ardian Cipa, Tirana’s chief of Police, with the Prosecutor General,
Adriatik Llalla.
The meeting was confirmed for Top Channel by the adviser of the Prosecutor General, Albi Serani, but he didn’t say anything about the topic of this meeting.
The meeting between Cipa and Llalla took place on the same day when the Democratic Party MP, Voltana Ademi, filed a criminal report at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, denouncing a threat that the Democratic Party claims was made by Emiljano Shullazi against the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha.
The Prosecution of Serious Crime has registered the report and will continue with the procedures. The Prosecution has sent an urgent request at the Ministry of Interior, asking if the Democratic Party MP needs further protection.
