The construction of 385 social residential appartments in Shkoze, a project started three years ago, has finished.
The Mayor of Tirana, Edi Rama, declared that this is the first
contingent of social residences in aid of families in need, emphasizing
that the social residences are a modern model of cohabitation in
community.
“The project of the social residences will be applied in other areas
too. This new residential complex of European standards offers
employment and self employment. Our goal is to build 1000 other
apartments, with the municipality covering 50% of the rent”, Rama said.
