Shkoder, Catholics help with blood donation

The voluntary donations started this Saturday morning and continued until this afternoon at the Cardinal Mikel Koliqi Cathedral of Shkoder.

Another campaign has started in Lushnje by several organizations, after doctors and parents of children with thalassemia declared that there was not enough blood from the Albanian authorities, making the patients’ life almost impossible.

The blood donation association has organized several similar activities, and today it has been organized by the catholic clergymen of Shkoder. Dozens of people answered to the appeal, even non-catholic believers.
