Shkelzen Doli and “Albanian Soul” on Skanderbeg Square, September 23rd

On September 23rd, the Skanderbeg Square will be the epicenter of Albanian music.

70 artists will perform together with the Vienna Philarmony violinist, Shkelzen Doni.

Doni revealed some of the details of this concern, in an interview for Top Channel, and he promises it will be magnificent.

“It will be a magnificent concert. We called it Albanian Soul because we want to show the soul of Albania through music and art”, Doli said, adding that there will also be two performers from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, one playing flute and one the violoncello.

As for Albanian performers, Doli says there will be around 70 in total, from all Albanian lands.

“This is an initiative started from me and the organizers, so that we can promote the Albanian art on the Skanderbeg square on September 23rd, with the purpose to start a tour in Europe, USA and Asia in 2018”, Doli said.

When asked by Top Channel’s journalist about the songs that the public should expect on September 23rd, Doli said:

“There will be the best melodies, the ones we have grown with for half a century, songs we already know, etc. There will also be two new compositions of the Albanian music. There will also be classic music, autochthonous from other countries, such as Spain and Argentina. There will be several waltz. It will be very colorful, with music from all around the world”, Doli said.
