The Democratic Party MP, Tritan Shehu, reacted on Facebook after police started criminal prosecutions against the MPs who organized a protest without filing a request beforehands.
According to Shehu, Rama is taking political tensions to a point of no return.
“Your order to criminally prosecute MPs and Mayors of the opposition, together with citizens, is very provocative and creates a very dangerous precedent. This is not about the possibility of having me sentenced or not, although you can expect anything from regimes when they come at this point”, Shehu writes.
He has a question for the Prime Minister: “How will this influence the European path? Such actions are no jokes or children games”.
