The Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Durrës in the framework of comprehensive investigations for abuse of duty and exceeding competencies has registered today the criminal case for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty” and “Providing assistance for illegal construction” in relation to a gas station near the main road, for some officials of the Albanian Road Authority.
The proceedings against the officials are related to a series of car accidents that occurred on the national Plepa-Kavaja road and as specifically a gas station in the third kilometer suspected to have been built in violation of the law.
In this case, investigations were carried out against the suspects Agron Hasa, Kastriot Braha, Aferdita Basha and Dhurata Lazaj as engineering specialists of ARA, Spartak Tarkaj, Astrit Zenelaj, Leke Tushaj in the capacity of directors of ARA directorates, members of the Technical Council, who have consumed elements of the criminal offense of “Abuse of duty”, provided by Article 248 of the Criminal Code and the criminal offense of “Providing assistance for illegal construction”, committed in collaboration, provided by Articles 199 / b and 25 of Criminal Code.
