The second session of the Special College of Appeals, for the former Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, was held today.
The College accepted Llalla’s request to pass the power of attorney to lawyer Sokol Hazizaj. The document was issued in Turkey, in both languages, Albanian and English.
The Special College of Appeals decided that the next session will be on June six, in which they will decide if the Vetting Law process will continue for Llalla.
After his term was expired, the former Prosecutor General tried to avoid the Vetting Process by resigning from his right to be part of the judicial system. His resignation was greeted by the US Ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu.
