Serious Crimes Court refuses to release airport robbery defendants

After several hours of hearing, Serious Crimes Court refused to release the suspects arrested for their role in the Rinas Airport robbery.

Their lawyers demanded their immediate release, pretending there is no arrest measure issued for the 5 ex-employees accused for abuse of power. They lost their case in the Frist Degree Court, but declare they will demand their customers release at the High Court.

Attorney Vladimir Meçe appealed to the authorities to monitor the process because he claims courts are playing with the defendants passing each other the competence to free them. The case entered this labyrinth a few days ago when the Appeal Court for Serious Crimes declared nullification of the decision taken in the First Degree Court refused the Prosecution demand to let the defendants in prison.
