The President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, declared for Serbian TV RTS1
that Kosovo still belongs to Serbia, otherwise he wouldn’t be trying so
hard for it.
“Kosovo is not lost, otherwise I wouldn’t be trying so hard for it. We want compromise to live in peace. A compromise that would make us forget the past to live the future”, Vucic said.
According to the Serbian President, Kosovo will be unable to take any important decision without Serbia’s approval.
“You know that Kosovo cannot take important decisions without Serbia’s approval. Interpol and UNESCO are two of the matters in which Kosovo has learned this reality. We have 110.000 Serbian residents in Kosovo”, Vucic said.
However, Vucic said he is concerned for Kosovo Serbs because, according to him, they feel unsafe in their own territory. “However, we are proud that Serbs in Kosovo have not been killed in the past 4 years, despite the many problems”.
