Serbian PM reacts after Rama’s declaration for EU unification of Albanians

Serbia reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the unification
of the Albanian people in the EU and the approach that the EU should
have to this.

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, declared on Twitter: “I promise to Prime Minister Rama that Kosovo and Albania will never unite in the classic way. I appeal the Albanian leaders to stop provoking the stability in the region”, Vucic said on Twitter.

Other Serbian officials said that the declarations of Rama are a threat for the peace and stability in the region, and a dangerous appeal for redefining the borders in Balkan.

The reactions came after Rama held a joint interview on Kosovo’s “Klan Kosova”, after being both honored with the title “Citizenf of Honor for Ulcin”. In this interview, Rama said that if the EU will not open the integration path and the visa liberalization to Kosovo, the unification would come the classic way.
