Serbian Mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Kosovo, has resigned

The leader of the Serbian List in Kosovo, Goran rakic, resigned as Mayor of the Northern Mitrovica commune.

Rakic claimed that his resignation was due to the “constant institutional pressure” and the 100% higher tax against Serbian goods.

The international community, including the US State Secretary, Mike Pompeo appealed Kosovo to withdraw this decision.
