Serbia reviews platform

Serbia will change its platform for Kosovo in some points and will not
interrupt the talks with Kosovo. But it will not be in front of the
Serbian MPs and will serve as a starting point for the talks with
Kosovo.

The problems of this platform, in which is required a special entity of the Kosovo Serbs, with police, other competences, executive structures and the return of part of the Serbian army to Kosovo, have made it not applicable.

However, Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic declared that the dialogue with Kosovo will continue and this document presents the stance of the Serbian government and President.

Vincent Degert, EU Ambassador in Serbia, decalred that this platform needs some changes. Analyst Nenad Gjurgjevic underlined that this platform seems obligatory and it will tie the negotiators’ hands.
