Yesterday, Xhaka and Shaqiri, the two Albanian players of Switzerland’s national football team, both scorers during the match against Serbia, changing this way the outcome of the match, received a fine by FIFA because of their goal celebrations, the hand gesture on their chest, which symbolizes the double-headed eagle of the Albanian flag.

But FIFA didn’t punish only them with a fine. The Serbian Football Federation received a 54,000 Swiss Francs fine for the incidents caused by their fans in the match against Switzerland.

Serbia was fined for banners with discriminatory messages and for having their fans throw solid objects against the players during the match.

Even for the first match, Serbia was fined with 10,000 Swiss Francs for the behavior of their fans.
