It had never happened before, but after the incident of this Monday, which led to the arrest of the so called Director of the Office for Kosovo at the Serbian Government by the Kosovo Police, for illegally crossing the border, Belgrade’s response was flying airplanes over the Presheva Valley, Southern Serbia, an area of Albanian majority.
The Albanian residents of this valley, which is an integral part of Serbia, sent amateur video to Top Channel of warplanes flying over their heads during this Wednesday.
Technically, Belgrade said that flying warplanes within their border is their sovereign right. But the timing raises doubts about pressure being made by Serbia to Albanains who live in their territory, and also to Kosovo.
