Head of the Serbian delegation for the dialogue Prishtina-Belgrade,
Borko Stefanovic, accepted for the first time that Kosovo citizens can
travel in Serbia with Kosovo Republic passports.

Stefanovic declared in an interview for a Kosovo radio that the next agreements will be very useful for both countries, without prejudices on the status.

“I can say that there are many good things from which would benefit everyone that lives in Kosovo. Definitely, all people would travel free and could make use of their rights and their documents without prejudices about the Kosovo status”, Stefanovic declared.

When asked if Kosovo citizens will be able to travel through Serbian territory with Kosovo passports, Stefanovic declared that there will be many ways for realizing this.

“At any time, without any problem. Believe me that you will be satisfied by the agreement that we will reach in this matter”, Stefanovic declared.

He denied the declarations of Edita Tahiri, saying that Serbia fears dialogue.

“I guarantee you that we are not trying to postpone this process, or that we fear it. It has not been our proposition, but of all of us, to have a meeting by the end of June. I am sure that it will be for very good results. You know it very well that these matters are very complex, and believe me that there is nothing to fear, because every solution that will be achieved will only help the citizens that live in Kosovo and Metohija”, Stefanovic underlined.
