The head of the OSCE in Tirana, Ettore Sequi, joined the declarations of
the international community by saying that together with the name of
Albania’s next president, another important thing is the way how the
process for his election will be managed.
Sequi hopes that the next President will be elected through an all inclusive process, adding that the political parties should act in a constructive way with this matter and others.
Sequi underlined that Albania’s road to EU goes through the candidate status, a process based on merits.
“We are here to help, but it is up to Albania to realize what is necessary for the EU candidate status, based on the implementation of the key priorities. I hope and I wish for this to happen, but it is your duty and responsibility”, Sequi declared.
