Senator McCain expressed US support to Kosovo, receives “Freedom Order”

US Senator John McCain said he is proud for the achievements of Kosovo, but he reminded that there is still a lot to do.
After his visit in Prishtina, where he reiterated that the border demarkation with Montenegro is needed for the country, he received the “Freedom Order” by President Hashim Thaci.
“You showed that freedom is not a privilege of the strong, but a fundamental right of every person, of every nation”, the Kosovo President said.
McCain said he would commit to help with Kosovo’s support.
“There is still a lot to do, but I think that the people of Kosovo must be proud for their achievements. I will do everything possible to make sure the support of the USA and other people too, to guarantee that Kosovo will remain free, democratic and beautiful as it is today”, the US senator said.
MCCain’s visit had wide interest in the region, since it was the first expression from Washington, after the changed administration.
