Selami: “Basha failed as leader”. Basha: “DP, alone against crime and drug for votes”

Eduard Selami, the only candidate running for the Democratic Party
leadership against incumbent leader Lulzim Basha, said that the latter
has failed and abandoned his promises.
“When you listen to Mr.Basha you think ‘lucky me’, but when you see the state of the Democratic Party than you say ‘poor me’. We cannot complain about the theory. He knows it very well how a modern democracy works. But four years later we are farther than ever, because he didn’t keep his promises”, Selami said.
Selami said that the lists of membership names should be published, to make the race more trusted. This practice, according to Selami, is used by modern political forces in the USA and Germany.
Basha, on the other hand, visited the same areas and said that the Democratic Party was faced in these elections with the force of drug traffic and crime managed by the state machinery to buy massive amounts of votes.
According to Basha, Albania can only reach its aspirations only through the DP, since, for the DP leader, the Socialist Party has built a corrupted and criminal system with the purpose to eliminate the free will of Albanian citizens.
Basha added that his projects empowers citizens to take important decisions.
