Seized drug in Italy, Basha: “Sad truth of the Rama government”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that the 2.3 tons of
cannabis seized in Italy show the sad truth that Rama’s promises for a
fight against drug production are just lies, with the purpose to lie to
citizens and the international community.
“In the meanwhile, he defends and promotes the organized crime heads and their collaborators. This is in fact the project of the Socialist Party”, Basha said.
He underlined that this is proven by the promotion of Gramoz Ruci as Speaker, who was refused in 2005 to enter US territory due to his ties with crime; and Fatmir Xhafa, Interior Minister, whose brother DP says was sentenced by the Italian authorities for international drug traffic.
“The opposition will do everything possible to make him held accountable for drug and crimes. But this battle demands the media, intellectuals and all citizens to cooperate as well. We must all raise our voice against the dangers of drug, before it is too late”, Basha said.
